CRO-MAGNON WOMAN
40,000 YEARS AGO IN FRANCE
LATE PLEISTOCENE TIME
CRO-MAGNON WOMAN

The first edition of this kit was released in 1971, along with the Tar
Pit, Cave, Neanderthal Man, Cro-Magnon Man, the Flying Reptile,
Allosaurus and the Saber Tooth Tiger.

In 1972 reissue (when the increased range of kits were brought
out) the box size was increased, along with almost all the models
of the 1971 issue.

The kit comes with two sets of arms and legs (one of which means
she has to lie down, or lean against a support), and a really
excellent two headed snake.  Also the figure makes an interesting
addition to the cave scene, bringing drama to the attack of the
Cave Bear.

The initial sculpt was thought too busty and
to have a too short skirt and so had to be
re-sculpted.
