Beneath are three images of design work for the cave
and a scan of the original painting for the cave.

If you compare it to the boxes you will see how different
elements of the picture were used. For the back of the
box, where the text went more of the right hand side of
the picture was used, but for the front of the box, a view
left of centre was used.
The cave painting
was modified by
painting out the
Allosaurus for the
second (1972)
issue of the kit.

The image above is of the water colour
painting used for the Cave instruction sheet.
Below the Cro-magnon Woman has been
drawn inside the cave. All the elements of the
cave kit are clearly represented (The fire
stick, meat, large rock, Stalagmite/tite,
spears etc).
